They just played those two rap commercials back-to-back... am I crazy or is it the same guy doing both?

actually, Ginger, we CAN name a solo Nick Hayward song (and so can Dave!)

But we get HC100, "Favourite Shirt/Boy Meets Girl", which I always thought sounds a lot like T.Heads' "I Zimbra". BOS1

Sounds like it's 1982, not 1981

I just emailed her!  But big kudos for playing Favorite Shirts instead of Love Plus One

SOunds like it's 1982, not 1981

indeed, I posted ahead of time, and I thought I remembered her saying "1981" at the end of yesterday's set.  No mistaking the Cars, however.

2nd xylophone in less than an hour, since Bob played Starbuck.

I know Mike is gonna BOS Joni, but this is maybe a guilty displeasure for me.  Not a 'meh' just a 'not my style'.  Recognize the craftmanship but...it's just ok

I respect that -- it's not "accessable" Joni or even "poetic" Joni.  My BOS is more of a BOSFRA.

I concur on the "I Zimbra" (which has lately been in my top 2 or 3 TH songs) but hadn't thought about it until your post.

I checked and Dave has played "Love Plus One" at least 11 times in my Db era, but never this.  So even more kudos for Ginger.

anything other than "Steppin' Out" woulda got a BOS from me; I'll be slightly cranky and hold this to a VHM.
