The XM 70's version was from Feb 12, 1972 where two versions of I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (in Perfect Harmony) was in the top 40.

A lot of bad stuff too, in the early reaches.  Ringo's "Snookeroo" was OK, but man, "Sally G" SUCKS!  Also the Carpenters' antiseptic take on "Please Mr. Postman," and now debuting at #35, the horridly sung "Shame, Shame, Shame."  "Put on your shaggy wig, woman, or I ain't comin' back!"

A curiosity: I new about Scott English's "Brandy," of course, but Casey played a clip by a New Zealand artist named Bunny Walters before playing Mandy Manilow style.

In this countdown we heard Ringo, Paul, and now John at #9 with "#9 Dream."  George just missed being here when his single "Ding Dong, Ding Dong" had peaked at #36 in early 2/75, in the Top 40 for just two weeks.  I wonder if all four had solo hits on AT40 at the same time??

Haha, I was just wondering this very thing!  Mike, you don't have the week-by-week Billboard books, do ya?

OK, I have No. Fucking. Clue. what either of those references are.  ???

And yes, I have the Billboard chart books ('60s, '70s and '80s). And I'm sure all four Fabs were in the 40 at one time (I believe it was a question answered by Casey at one point) but It'll take a while to tell you specifics.
