A real Touch and Go start to the set. (Gettin' the Cars out of the way early.)

Figuring XTC and probably some kind of Lennon reference (if not actual song) are near certainties. I'd love to hear Sherry, Darling too, but that's lots less likely.

Wow, very cool.

But you gotta  'splain somethin' to me: Have you got gifs of all this stuff just sitting in waiting on your hard drive? Or are you listening from home with your scanner and/or digicam all warmed up and ready? Your ability to come up with topically relevant avatars on very little notice is pretty remarkable.

My thoughts exactly!  Either way Wayback, very impressive (at least within our highly OCD little group here!  ;)  )

Woo Hoo! BOS2 "Stop Yer Sobbin'"!

Chrissie took a lot of heat in punk purist circles for making her first single a Kinks cover, but I guess if you want to have a baby with the songwriter it's not a bad career move.

Aside: Ray's just released his second solo album in two years. It's getting decent reviews, although I have not heard it yet. Guess he was on Letterman Monday night, but I didn't find out til yesterday. :(
Let's get right to it.

she's not "punk", she's "new wave" -- TOTALLY different head. Totally.  (and giving Ray "totally different head" probably helped too!)

good rimshot-worthy comeback, but she was definitely a Punk.  vis. "Precious" or "The Wait".

well, better this than "Train in vain" again, but there are other interesting tracks on LC.  Me bloody crankypants are irritating me bloody bollocks!

I'd've taken Ramones or Elvis C (from Get happy!) over the Kings. But VHM anyway.

I used to go to another church in the Tenderloin, but I'm switchin' to Glide...
