promo tipped it at 11:30 am, which has got to be the soonest yet. (not counting theme sets that Dave hypes days in advance, of course).

Paul McCartney   Coming Up
The Romantics    What I Like About You
AC/DC     Back in Black
Billy Joel   You May be Right
Bob Seger    You'll Accomp'ny Me

A real Touch and Go start to the set. (Gettin' the Cars out of the way early.)

Figuring XTC and probably some kind of Lennon reference (if not actual song) are near certainties. I'd love to hear Sherry, Darling too, but that's lots less likely.
Let's get right to it.

Strange track record for this song.  Dave played it once each in '02 & '04, but then 4 times in 2006, and now this is only the second time we've heard it since '06.

I surrender to the fever, yeah I surrender to the will of the night.

Brings to mind an experience I had in Yangshuo, China with a German girl that lasted a total of about 15 hrs.

(PG rated, but no less intense for it)

Wow, very cool.

But you gotta  'splain somethin' to me: Have you got gifs of all this stuff just sitting in waiting on your hard drive? Or are you listening from home with your scanner and/or digicam all warmed up and ready? Your ability to come up with topically relevant avatars on very little notice is pretty remarkable.
Let's get right to it.

Chrissie took a lot of heat in punk purist circles for making her first single a Kinks cover, but I guess if you want to have a baby with the songwriter it's not a bad career move.
