ETA:  I do hope it's a soul-ful set - Al Green can be counted on (Dave has played 5 diff. tracks by him in my Db for '72), and I wouldn't mind hearing Cornelius Bros. and Sister Rose, Bill Withers, Donnie Elbert, O'Jays, Stylistics, Spinners, etc.

Heading into Soul territory--and I'm pretty sure it's a first-timer at that! 992 Arguments--ah, that Philly sound!

I'd've bet money we heard this -- and recently, too -- but the Shraytabase sez no.  But here's a "classic" i've had enuf of. Some Stoopid with a flare gun, indeed.

Considering we already heard the Heep tune, getting SotW as well seems kind of repetitive.
Let's get right to it.

"Long Cool Creedence in a T-Rex" is surely in Katrina territory, no?

Hard to believe, but it's not in the Shraytabase even once. But Long Dark Road has four appearances.

Au contraire, Dave never plays it.

It made a VT in the '72 spot once, 5 1/2 yrs ago.

That is absolutely mind-boggling. And yes, I know Bob plays it frequently, but still.

bet you'd find it nearly as mind-boggling to know that Handbags & Gladrags has only two prior appearances, both in 2003.

One of the saddest songs ever, to my ears, especially that closing.  But BOS to "992 Arguments," which I've heard maybe twice in my life.  Missed a few interesting nuggets from Dave this week; will have to toggle between tomorrow's replay and the KFRC Kasey Kountdown.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
