"Maybe the greatest record ever made" said Little Steven when he played this Sun nite. I never understood why Warners/Sire didn't re-release End of the Century at... the end of the century.  woulda been a great promo, no?

BOS, at any rate, and now "Heart of Glass" for the billionth time.  Hope this gets better.

It's Different for Girls--not a bustout or even a rarity, but I'll listen to this anytime.

I'd say it's about 3-1 that we'll hear something from Nick Lowe, but I'd love it if it were something besides Cruel to be Kind. Switchboard Susan maybe, or American Squirm.
Let's get right to it.

Disco definitely! But I have no idea who this is. Dig the rhythm guitar part though.

BOS3 Ms Pointer -- the disco version of "Heaven Musta Sent You" (the 45 had the"regular" version on one side and this mix on the other). Either way, a fab revival of a "lost" early-Motown track (The Elgins? The Velvelettes? I always confuse those 2).

Dave's played this often enuf -- within the past year, I'll wager. This is a serious 12-inch version, tho'.

Yup, I'm digging this. Good riffs. Plugged buds in so I can turn it UP.

Hope you didn't bet the house. It's in the DB once, but it was 16 months ago--August 1 '06 to be specific. Great tune in any case. It'll get my BOS vote if nothing better comes along.

Just had an inspiration that we'll likely never hear--Bryan Ferry's Tokyo Joe. Another great FM hit from the summer of '79.

Well, I was close. ;)

BOS4 "Street Life", the Crusaders with what's-her-name.  (proxy WOS for the princess, iirc)

Wish we'd  find a bustout in this bottle. I'm falling into despair-oh.
