I got something else on Friday, let's do it tomorrow.  POC, you got a preference for ethnic food on Castro Street?  My last 3 times there were for Thai, Indian & Italian, but I am totally open to suggestions.

BOS2 to Bowie's Young Americans. This record and Station to Station are by far my two faves of his, and that's saying a lot.

Still waiting for this set's Gomer though--although perhaps the Marley song was it. Just didn't quite feel like one.

I'm waiting for Journey, myself.  A little "Topaz", scarecrow.

Favorite two Bowie albums:

Falling out of my chair..."One Day At A Time" is the best theme ever?

NO WAY!

And now Sugarloaf again.

Dave's all-time TV theme is "One Day at a Time"?!  That's like finding out he traded in his motorcycle for a Trabaut.

Meanwhile, hoping he atones for the Sugarloaf rehash by closing with Lennon's "#9 Dream."  John 3/16, as it were.

This is the best TV theme of the decade? One Day at a Time? No, I'm sorry, you must be mistaken, sir.

Btw, where'd Dave get that "TV party tonight" bumper he's been using before his TV themes lately?

And here's the repeater from Chi-Town--who'd a guessed?
Let's get right to it.

I am as stunned as you are. I'd've never predicted either occurrance.

Dave needs help.

I love that we all had *identical* reactions to all that.

Any sign of Alicat?  Think she's in a Round 2 interview?

BOS to War.  Very fond associations with this song, I don't know how one can NOT smile after hearing that refrain over and over.

I dare say it was unanimous among us--at least five of us posted our disbelief.
Let's get right to it.

Hah!  I was singing "Why Can't We Be Friends" to myself this morning while I was making coffee.  Wanna hear why?  It's silly.  Inexplicably, I was humming "Funky Nassau" on the way into work and my cow orker heard thought I said I was funky.  I told him Nassau was funky.  He said I was funky.  Funky funky funky funky funky.  That lead me to the jamming track on "Why Can't We Be Friends" in which the phrase "Funky funky funky funky funky funky funky..." appears.  That song stinks, so I resorted to "WCWBF".  So there you go.
