I noticed I must have clicked TEN instead of IND.  How could anyone in their right mind do that?

On the ESPN picks, I actually had TB winning over NO but switched it on Saturday night. Then again, at the same time, I had NYG over GB and switched that one, too.

Well, at least it was close!

I'm usually happy to break even (and I will if NE holds on, regardless of who wins on MNF) but jeez: Cleveland wins? the Saints lose?

Crazy week.  I have 8 right now.  Almost had only 7, and would have been glad for it.  The Raiders may not be good, but they are certainly much improved.

Right now the KFOG scores on our group are all screwed up.  Most of us are scored 2 pts too high, Mike is 4pts too high, Geoff 2 pts too low, and only Ali's score is accurate.  Geoff & Urth should be in the lead with 10 for the week, which means Urth should be ahead overall.  And since we all picked Philly nothing will change the standings tonight.

Um, I think those are season-to-date scores -- this week's points don't get added until after tonite.

You and I differ on quite a few picks:
GAZ15     PHI     MIA     NE     BAL     STL     PIT     IND     SD     KC     OAK     JAX     SEA     WAS     CAR     CHI     TEN 29

BTW, Urth leads the gang with 22; Rod, Mark, Mike, and I are tied at second with 20.  Then Geoff at 18, and the due-for-a-comeback Alicat at 15.

I was walking down Valencia last nite, and passed a guy on a cell phone just as he said to someone "dude, the Eagles suck" ... and I thought, "the band or the football team?"

Frustrating stuff.  I thought Kevin Curtis was going to make a big impact.  And they really should have kept the lovely and talented Jeremy Bloom on the roster to return kicks, thus allowing Gaz to get kicks.

Headline in the Onion sports page this week: "Eagles Fans Give McNabb 3-Week Deadline to Win Super Bowl".

In fact they're on a roll this week -- my fave is "Randy Moss Complains He's Getting the Ball Too Much". And there's a sports graphic about the WNBA that achieves a peak of hilarity and nastiness:
