it's "cause I'm".  Don't read a '90s expression into a '70s lyric.  But see my related post.

Diggin' the scene wit' a gangsta lean: William DeVaughn left the music biz after this hit to become a street preacher; I think the JWs ended up with his money.  For some reason I always felt like he might be a CIA operative dedicated to keeping people in their place.

When drugs are legal, do you think they'll be advertised like pharmaceuticals (a la Levitra, Viagra, et al)?  Or like breakfast cereals?
