I remember in '88 how much we all liked Etheridge, but these days it's more of a guilty displeasure.

Okay - "but these days, speaking for myself, she's more of a guilty displeasure."

but Mr. Scott makes up for it.

She's always been, like, "well, she's OK but I already own all of Springsteen's LPs..."  I admire her politically more than I enjoy her musically.

BOS4 Percy!

I was just confirming that & noticed that Dave always plays "Fisherman's Blues" in '89 sets, and he's wrong, should be '88 like Ginger just played it.  Album released that fall, & the single peaked at #3 Modern Rock Tracks in '88.  The 2nd single "World Party" peaked in '89.
