I remember in '88 how much we all liked Etheridge, but these days it's more of a guilty displeasure.

speak for yourself, bub. i still like to rock out to meth.

She's always been, like, "well, she's OK but I already own all of Springsteen's LPs..."  I admire her politically more than I enjoy her musically.

BOS4 Percy!

i think everyone got far too carried away with the springsteen comparison. vocals, maybe...

Bruce got similar features. But a longer schlong.

I didn't know that her birth name was Jamesetta Hawkins, that makes for an interesting stage name etymology.

BOS #whatever, the Oyls!!

Weren't the FYCs big in 88?

'89, actually

I was just confirming that & noticed that Dave always plays "Fisherman's Blues" in '89 sets, and he's wrong, should be '88 like Ginger just played it.  Album released that fall, & the single peaked at #3 Modern Rock Tracks in '88.  The 2nd single "World Party" peaked in '89.

Aren't you "smart"!
