Rob, Bob & Ginger all had very good sets, can our luck hold?

I like Adam Ant as long as we have to go to 1983.

If I asked you difficult questions,
Would you find that a risk to your health?
And would you put me up on the bookshelf?
With the books?
And the plants?

I'm baffled as to why this song (one of AA's weaker efforts, IMHO) turns up as often as it does -- Dave's never played "Antmusic" in 1981, for example.

If only!  GJWTHF is one Dave rarely plays; "She Bop" has actually turned up a few times.

ETA: and her LP came out in late '83, the singles all peaked in '84.

And while we're thinking of what we'd like to hear, I again submit Hall & Oates' Family Man.
Let's get right to it.

Oh my yes.

or Shalamar's "Dead Giveaway".  Having heard Judge play "Say say Say" yesterday, it occurs to me Dave's rarely if ever gone there.

BOS U2 "Seconds".  I was listening to this with headphones the other day & for the first time noticed that when they do the "I wanna be an Airborne Ranger" bit, it's all on the left track & there's some other movie clip playing on the right track.

Hey now, the last (& I think only) time we heard this song was on my 40th B-day more than 3 years ago.

Falco shows up once each with "Der Kommissar" (auf Deutsch) & with "Rock Me Amadeus".

I normally recoil in horror at any Men at Work tune, but this one is not sounding so bad. Not gonna give it a BOS, but not gonna bitch either.
Let's get right to it.

Another BOS for Simple Minds, "Promised You A Miracle", another tune that Dave has not played for quite some time.
