a rare non-thematic segue from Munich to "Tiny Dancer".  Kinda jarring, actually.

I thought so too, but Tiny Dancer does have an elegiac effect on me.

In a way, he did.  But I'd've preferred "Doctor My Eyes".

I found the whole set a bit underwhlming, after a nice start.

Still, give Dave credit for a full 45 minute set on a Friday.  That's something anyway.

Yeah, the Moodies, Nils and Chakachas were as close as we got to rarities, and they aren't all THAT rare.
Let's get right to it.

We're tracking Jose because Dave SAYS we are. I suspect Jose has a very sexy accent.

Went to a movie tonite in West Portal, and as the film started there was a hail/sleet/thunderstorm going on outside.  Afterward, there was slush on the roof of my Jeep -- and in SF proper that happens, like, once a decade.

I'll bet it was pretty loud out your way.  Out here at the beach, really large fluffy hail poured down, and the street was white for a few minutes, tracks of the car tires up and down the street.  I spent some time looking out our back window (eastward, towards West Portal) and saw some intense lightning bolts.  I even saw a huge horizontal bolt.  Pretty rare for these parts.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!
