So sez Dave's IM status. He's taking requests--anyone want me to ask for anything out of the ordinary?
Let's get right to it.

Duly requested. Dave said he'd put it on the list.

Thanks!  if he plays it it'll be a breakout -- I've requested it a number of times w/out success.  One of 2 I always request; the other being "Sylvia" by Focus, but he'd have to go digging thru his vinyl for that one, I think.

Well I called up and requested Hoedown or Fanfare for the Common Man by ELP ... Dave sounded like he might play Hoedown -- he said it might be too "weird" for most listeners but (quote) "screw them".     :D
Now I'm eight bits...

Hmmm, leading off with a different TV show theme. Sorry, man, this does not bode well.

Nice wah-wah, though.
Let's get right to it.

And Jeff Beck, from Blow by Blow. "Cause We've Ended as Lovers"?

The Fender Rhodes pans nicely between channels, I just noticed.
Let's get right to it.

Kind of a Katrina for Strictly Instrumentals, but it's also my favorite instrumental of all time, so it's fine by me.
