As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls came out--a lousy title, but an amazing record. First time I'd ever heard a synclavier live. And then a friend and I interviewed him after the show--the most normal, accessible, down to earth guy you could ever want to meet. Some of his work since has been kind of bland, but thanks to that night, the guy is aces in my book. (And another Missourian, Mshray--he's from Lee's Summit.)
