Repeat tracker: There has been one so far.

I suspect she's compiling this set with an eye on the list from the last one, but it's almost a certainty we'll hear Can't You Hear Me Knocking in the #10 slot.

BOS Roxy Music (with Andy Mackay), Both Ends Burning.  (I was hoping for Editions of You, but this works too.)

I was also thinking it would be nice to get some deep Tower of Power, but they're more about the horn section as a whole, you don't hear many sax solos in their stuff. Although I bet DaveMack could come up with one or two to prove me wrong.

Given all the choices, "Brown Sugar" (which I heard yesterday) seems a tad obvious.

As I indicated earlier, '72 is due and we'll no doubt hear something from Exile... then.

Penultimate song is Brown Sugar (repeat from the guitar set I posted earlier, but not the first sax set). Let's see if this leads into your prediction.

I think this is song 10.

Oops, missed Pink Floyd when I counted the songs up.

Does one dare vote anything but the Stones/Lennon tunes for BOS? Seems like that would be unsporting.

Maybe we could vote for Best of Set That Doesn't Include Bobby Keys?

So, tomorrow, a Faces-active year to honor Ian McLagen?

Could be -- 1972 would work. A Nod is As Good As a Wink... came out in late '71 but had chart action in '72, and Stay With Me is on there, along with some other fine deeper tracks. (That's All You Need or Debris would be just fine with me, just sayin'.)

Although two death tributes on consecutive days might be a little overly gloomy. But he deserves it if anyone does, just too bad he had to go so soon after Bobby Keys.

I would say that the probability of a 1972 set greatly exceeds that of another tribute. Although she could do a more formal tribute next week - I'd agree that two in a row would be a bit much.

I agree that another full tribute set is pretty unlikely, certainly not this week, and I would guess not at all. Just bad timing. A '72 set is a far more likely way to go.

It occurred to me that Rod's Never a Dull Moment was also a '72 release, with all the other members of Faces contributing to it, so that gives us the possibility of You Wear It Well or Twistin' the Night Away. And for deep track choices, I'd select I'd Rather Go Blind.
