thread is up -- a sax set to honor Mr. Keys, similar to what she did when Clarence Clemons passed.

"Let's get saxy", sez AL  :)  Looking forward to this one, it seems like one of those theme sets that would be hard to screw up.

(I'm guessing Thurs & Fri will be chosen from among '89, '98 or '72)

I suspect we'll hear "Baker Street" since Mr Ravenscroft died since this set aired in 2011.

Pink Floyd's "Money" shows up.

Here's the guitar set from 3+ years ago. I remember being really disappointed when this aired, but the set list looks OK now, other than the last few cuts being LN City.

not recognizing this (obviously more  current) tune. "Waiting for...." something. And we waited a while for the sax.

This M83 is unexpected. I may have to BOS this on FB, though it has been much-played outside of 10@10 on KFOG and Live 105. Can she be sure that the sax wasn't synthesized?

ETA: I looked up the personnel on the M83 album, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, which features this song, Midnight City, and, although M83 is primarily an electronic band, the album features a number of musicians playing traditional instruments, including saxophonist James King.

ah yes, I remember this as one of DC's "songs KFOG never played before that old people won't like".

Roxy Music, "Both Ends Burning", live.
