Best Duran Duran of Set: whatever this songs called ("Say a Prayer"? "Morning After"? I dunno)

"Save a Prayer"  From Rio.

ETA: which of course means it has no business being in an '85 set. album was released in '82 & peaked in '83.  This track, while gorgeous, never charted, so no lame excuses possible for its inclusion today.

here's a Duran Duran tune I am totally unfamiliar with (although it's unmistakeably them--or at least Simon Le Bon).

Really? got a lot of play and made it to #16. Not their biggest hit, but it was all over the radio.

What the...!?  Under the album heading in Allmusic it doesn't show this charting, but elsewhere on the singles page it does, and Mike is right.  My bad.

I knew I was gonna regret changing stations so quickly.  At least Deep Tracks was a good choice at that moment (at least, for a Zep head like myself).

But Deep Tracks plays the wimpy strings version sans Jeff Beck of PGR...

The band was in on it; they filmed a new video for the single's re-release.  I remember one of the Taylors, probably John, riding an elephant.

I doubt one could have hoped for a better 1985 set, all said.
