No clues as of 9:30pm. Wonder when AL goes beddy-bye? (yikes, I'm turning into Scott Fisher!)

Right before 10PM she whips out a Baileys on rocks, turns on the replay and says to her hubby "Dave Morey could never do as good of a job as I." After thinking for about 45 seconds she adds "Bee Yotch"!

Which wouldn't bother me so much but for the fact that she does that every night.

Aside: LOL @ the other results we get when searching for Annalisa Kfog on FB:

Anna Lisa Ubog
Annaliza Labog
Anna-Lisa Skoog

(I hope the Ms. Ubog's, Labog's, or Skoog's of the world aren't googling their names and find this post and think I'm some sort of stalker... :-X)

Tomorrow must be the weekly "I'm doing this one MYSELF" set.

Btw, I noticed yesterday she asked people to nominate the one song they'd really like to hear. Which zipped right past most people--some of the regulars were still requesting 6 or 8 songs at a crack.

actually, she says that quite often, and it never seems to make a difference. I've always limited myself to 3, thinking it makes me look reasonable compared to those who post laundry-lists.

I get the impression she actually sits down and *listens* to a LOT of the suggested songs when she's planning the set; that seems to be how I got "2-4-6-8 Motorway" on Monday -- she couldn't get it out of her head.

Maybe she still hasn't made up her mind.

This is the latest I can recall that the show hasn't kicked off yet.  10at10:10 anyone?

Hoping for something extra good, it is cold, windy & rainy outside.

10 @ 10:07...

and it's 1981 -- damn, I had some good requests.  But a relatively underplayed Police tune is a decent start.

AL gets her Goth on with a deep cut from The Cure.  (Title anyone?)  BOS2

"Primary" from the Faith LP

ETA:  pretty good lyrics:

The innocence of sleeping children
Dressed in white
And slowly dreaming
Stops all time
Slow my steps and start to blur
So many years have filled my heart
I never thought I'd say those words

The further we go
And older we grow
The more we know ...
The less we show ...

The very first time I saw your face
I thought of a song
And quickly changed the tune
The very first time I touched your skin
I thought of a story
And rushed to reach the end
Too soon

Oh remember
Please
Don't change

So the fall came
Thirteen years
A shiny ring
And how I could forget your name
The air no longer in my throat
Another perfect lie is choked
But it always feels the same

So they close together
Dressed in red and yellow
Innocent forever
Sleeping children in their blue soft rooms
Still dream

The further we go
And older we grow
The more we know ...

Chicago
The Moody Blues
Styx
REO Speedwagon
Journey
The Doobie Brothers

...more anyone?

I definitely concur r/ Starship - it all ended when the Jefferson disappeared. Actually, at least "We Built This City" was comically bad. "Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now" isn't even something one can make fun of. Just horrid.
