Pre-CGSS, Paul Coyte plays the "dirty" version of CDB, "Devil Went Down to GA"

Greg sounds pre-recorded today... it's "Bank Holiday Weekend". But the tunes have been just fine.

Kool & the Gang, "Misled", or "Miss Lead" as I always called it (cause she's "heavy as a Chevy"). She hooked up with Mr Wood and they made lots of little pencils.

James Brown--Super Bad!

"Jump back! I wanna kiss myself!"

They might have done the prerecording just to give Greg a night off if he's been subbing for Dean all week.
Let's get right to it.

Sweeney's playing a song by the lead singer from The Darkness under the name British Whale. I think Queen hired the wrong guy when they got Paul Rodgers for their reunion (not that there's a lot of disagreement about that)--this guy's got some amazing pipes.

I heartily concur. I can only assume the Darkness dude couldn't commit to a tour, whereas Paul Rodgers had, er, a lot of free time.

I believe in a (crazy little) thing called love...

It's a cover of an old Sparks song, done with the band's seal of approval.  I haven't heard either version.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
