KPOO etc week of 5/14/12

Just tuned in to Mr Morey's WTF. Here's the stream:

No surprise that his sounders include a lot of Judge Judy clips!

Mmmm... Macca's "Monkberry Moon Delight"! Haven't heard a DJ voice yet but apparently there's a bunch besides Dave.

Well, I've been listening for about an hour and a half. And it's been pretty nice, if a tad disjointed (as free-form radio can often be). Very light on the DJ presence, and songs are not always ID'd, which would be forgiveable if they had a "now playing" ticker, but they don't.  Still, I'll be checking in frequently.

ETA: uh-oh, we're getting a bunch of (new?) John Hiatt for some reason.  Time to change stations.

here's the sked:

I'm confused.  The stream has an author name of "Magoo2You," but the Tuesday sked says Magoo's show is from 9-10 AM, which is Eastern Time?

9AM - MAGOO (everything)
10AM - RYAN (metal)
11AM - TWISTED BOB (southern hippie)
  1PM - MUDLAKE SLIM (hippie)
  3PM - Maybe More

in any case, right now they're playing Starship's Jane Jane Janey Janey Janey.    I think we're in the 3 PM slot which is "Maybe More?"

segue of the day: WDAS goes from New Birth's scorching, over-the-top cover of "Until It's Time For You To Go" into Al Green's fantabulous interpretation of "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart".  I'm exhausted.
