In the list of all-time great party-starters (i.e., something you put on when you want to ensure butts will be shaking instead of in chairs), "Machine Gun" is right near the top, along with "Groove Is in the Heart."

Thurs 7/21: Wizzard's "Angel Fingers", the follow-up to "See My Baby Jive", which I haven't heard in a gazillion years. Not nearly as good as SMBJ, but you gotta either love or pity somebody who worships Phil Spector that much.

"Fat Bottomed Girls" -- so was Freddie really seduced by his nanny or is this song a fiction?  Now this song makes me think of those Dove Firming Lotion ads on BART. That woman's navel looks like a coin slot -- quarters only.

mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn - did you *have* to associate "fbg" with the dove women? it's become a moving picture in my head. they're all dancing around in their skivvies, and there's a massive tittie shaking convention during the big tom roll before the last verse. geesh.

WTF??? the Brit version of "Angel of the Morning" by someone named P.P. Arnold (I swear I'm not making that name up!)  Neither Merilee Rush nor Juice Newton ever charted in the UK with the song.
