yeah, when Dire Straits started Twistin', I decided to bail out of that particular pool and head over to 2NG.

I would give Missing Persons the BOS, despite Dale Bozzio's wacky cat-abuse charges from a while back.

Fri 7/22/11: Superheroes

Catch Me Now I'm Falling - Kinks (Capt. America)
Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill - Beatles (Capt. Marvel)
Sunshine Superman - Donovan
Paradise City - Guns N Rose (Capt. America)
Spider-Man - Ramones
You Don't Mess Around with Jim - Jim Croce
Superman - REM
Jimmy Olsen's Blues - Spin Doctors
Flash - Queen
Batman Theme - The Marketts

what, no "Iron Man"? Duuuuude! Dave did a similar set when the first Iron Man opened... but it was technically "Int'l Comic Book Day" so the Archies made the cut too:

Quote
1.  Black Sabbath - Iron Man
2.  Kinks - Wish I Could Fly Like Superman (BEST OF SET!!)
3.  Queen - Flash
4.  Donovan - Sunshine Superman
5.  Ramones - Sheena is a Punk Rocker
6.  XTC - That's Really Super, Supergirl!
7.  Archies - Sugar Sugar
8.  Prince - Batdance
9.  REM - Superman
10.  Spin Doctors - Jimmy Olson's Blues

BONUS TRACK:  Kinks - Catch Me Now I'm Falling

I'd've preferred something like this from AL instead of the guitarists set -- and today's '77 set on Wednesday.
