and speaking of far-from-rarities: "Baker Street", inevitable but worthy.

David Sanborn checks in, blowing with the Thin White Duke. VHM Young Americans, even though it's far from a rarity.

My favorite Bowie song!

I love all the location-specific decorations in the London Tube -- NYC has just started copying that in the last 10 years.

Wow, assuming this plays all the way out (how can it not?) and we get all 9-plus minutes of Jungleland (ditto), this could be a pretty damn long set.
Let's get right to it.

ditto ditto "Deacon Blues"  -- sax solos do tend to pad things out. "Learn to work the saxophone..."

Ahhhh, "Deacon Blues" is a beautiful and obvious choice that I didn't think of.

Not sure anyone did--I don't remember if any of the FB crew requested this. Of course, since I didn't catch AL's proclamation that Jungleland was a given, I suppose it's possible I missed it. ;)

BOS to the Dan and Pete Christlieb's superlative solo.

"They got a name for the winners in the world..."

Gotta also give props to the understated guitar solo that weaves around the sax part at the end of DB. Lee Ritenour, I think.
