BOS1 "Things Have Changed," a major late-career high point for him.

Agreed, tho' I still think he's ripping off the melody of "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition...)" more or less.

Damn, AL has worked overtime on the clips. Kudos!

Are we getting one song from each year?

WOS to the election of GWB, I'm already sulking over how sucky this decade turned out.

WOS2 to Jack Johnson, even more boring than usual.

Amen to that, although this is at least a song we haven't heard to death in the course of "KFOG variety." Hoping for better from here on.
Let's get right to it.

HM to Dylan.

BOS1 to Jack Johnson, since this was before he became horribly overrated.  This album really was fresh-sounding back in the day.

Oh, WOW.  BOS of the month if not the year to "Jesus, Etc.," my favorite Wilco song, and one that really captures the post-9/11 vibe (even if it was recorded months before).

AL, thank you.

Holy crap...when she played the 9/11 clip I wondered if she really would play "Jesus, Etc."  This gets a BOS2 from me.

Indeed, Mr Johnson is boredom personified.  This 3rd song is familiar, but I can't identify who it is.

the irony is that some simpleton like me who doesn't listen to much besides KFOG or KPIG doesn't recognize some of the obscure tunes AL's been spinning to please you hard-to-please guys.  Tune#4 for example. What the hell is this?

VHM (I can't possibly give another BOS vote) to "Seven Nation Army."  I never warmed to Jack White's voice, but the riff is undeniable.
