ETA: Per Wikipedia, Tyson bit Holyfield's ear in June of '97. Hmmm. Any potential for goodness here?

Great potential in this year -- but WOS Sistah Hazel, indeed one of the many Hootie clones that proliferated at the time. If this turns out to be more KFOG than Live 105 we're in for a stultifying 45 mins.

Too true.  Ever see the video?  This guy is a Maori New Zealander & they spend most of the time driving around in a red convertible with his girlfriend who is not really that good-looking.

Nothing too engaging so far, and there's a high likelihood of Sheryl Crow, so that's not a plus. However, we could also hear MMMBop, so there's that.

Safe bet we'll get a Princess Diana death clip, too.

ETA: I see that '97 gave us not one but two of Dave's fave Turkeys, too: Tubthumping and Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?

I never had to knock on wood, but I know someone who gives this a BOS...namely me.

Unfortunately I have to hop on BART & head downtown for another lawyer meeting.  If I miss any more Live105 staples from '97, I will be bummed.

MMBs get BOS for me.  I bought their CD, but it didn't really work for me.  This is the best thing on there.
