S-E-R-I-O-U-S ! Jermaine gets serious with Stevie's help. One of Mr Jackson's career highs -- amazing that Dave's never played this, given the Wonder connection.

Hoo Lawd! highlight of the day, and TANC, the other Jermaine (Stewart) with "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes off"

One of the great unsung Motown singles: Kim Weston, "Helpless". If Martha and the Vs had done this it woulda been Top Ten.

I was digging that too.  Maybe a tad too similar to "Heaven Must Have Sent You," but mimckry didn't stop many Motown hits.

I'm guessing this instrumental was Young-Holt Unltd's follow-up to "Soulful Strut"?

TANC: CGSS Greg is playing it on his Sat nite show, which I'm listening to this afternoon.  Really a fabulous track.

checking out "Lone Star 92.5" for the first time in ages, and got one of my fave Seger tracks, "Sunspot Baby" and -- dayum! -- Rossington-Collins Band, "Don't Misunderstand Me".  I remember liking this track at the time; this morning it sounds like a Southern Rock version of early-'80s Starship.
