Couple of interesting upsets, for sure, but I can't help thinking that this all-but-guarantees a Packers/Pats SuperBowl (no way are SD beating NE, and the NYG play GB at Lambeau).

Whoa--no one more shocked than I. Not sure why I took the Giants, but something felt right about that one.

Wonder if the KFOG pool device is going to continue operation for another week. Seems to me last year it went down right about now.

one out of two.  I was seeing bits in the airport of both, then saw the last minute + overtime at home.

of the people still playing on the KFOG site, only two got both games right!

Here's an intersting bit of historical perspective: This marks the 12th time that two teams that met during the regular season eventually squared off in the Super Bowl.  Of the previous 11 cases, 4 times the regular season meeting was decided by 8 pts or more, and in each case the winner also won the Super Bowl, usually in a blowout.  In the 7 cases where the regular season game was decided by 7 pts or less, the losing team came back to win the Super Bowl 6 out of 7 times (including NE's first SB upset of the mighty Rams).
