it's Helen Mirren's b-day, that's all I need to know!  (well, and Mick Jagger's)

ETA:  This site has some issues:

July 26, 1579 Francis Drake leaves San Francisco to cross Pacific Ocean.

If they had it as 'leaves coast of California..." it would be okay, but not only did San Francisco *not exist* in 1579, no westerner had even laid eyes on the bay yet, and wouldn't for another 90 years.  In fact it is one of Drake's few failings that he spent some weeks on the Point Reyes peninsula without figuring out that one of the world's great harbors was literally a stone's throw away.  I've always wondered how different our history might have been if he'd figured it out.

There's been much blogosphere whining about "what a bad idea/how crappy is this gonna be?" but I saw the trailer too and it looked surprisingly amusing.  The director, Peter Segal, is an Adam Sandler crony, unfortunately. But Alan Arkin as the Chief is pretty good casting. (Anne Hathaway is Agent 99)
