Thanks for going Rod. GREAT show. If any of you like him at all, go tonight! WOW. Four violins, 2 bass, guitars, drums, bongos, xylophone, other shaky noise things. Wonderful voice and movement. AND, fun marching band at the end. Semi naked women and man in the band. After the show a guy outside was telling me a few of the women were men in drag but I couldn't tell so might not be true. They played various horms and drums superbly.

Further thoughts on the David Byrne show.  It really was fantastic.  High energy, with a fine band, great rythym section.  Highlights include "This Must Be The Place," "Once in a Lifetime," "Psyco Killer," and, amazingly enough, a cover of Hendrix's "One Rainy Wish" from Axis:Bold as Love.  The encore of "Burnin' Down the House" rocked too.

I'm still feeling pretty thrilled by it. I'm sure I'll never see a show there again with the seating we had. I told Bob about the tunes he played and Bob replied that if he had known, he would have wanted to be there! Ya snooze ya lose. David truly burned down the house.

I'm curious now where you were sitting--at one of the tables in the balcony along the side?
Let's get right to it.

Exactly. The table right before the curtained doorway. Beautiful view of the stage. It felt kind of royal-like, looking out over all the subjects below.  :) We got lucky. It was reserved, we were just hanging out there and when no one sat after the first couple of songs, we were given the OK to take the table. Easy to get to and from the bar which was a-ok.

Stay Up Late on KFOG now. Wish this was played at the show. I loved Little Creatures.
