Got it on here too--got David Buoy (that's how Judge pronounced it, honest) with help from Luther on Fascination.
Let's get right to it.

Judge is all over the place again today--Carly Simon awhile back, Gary Wright "I Can't Find a Judge" even earlier, and now it's Elvin Bishop with Mickey Thomas "Miss Slick Titty Boom," which I think may have been the b-side to "Fooled Around & Fellin Love."
Let's get right to it.

And for the second time in just under 24 hours, I'm hearing Billy Joel's The Stranger. Heard it at a wedding reception I attended in Sacto yesterday afternoon--the bride is a big Joel fan.
Let's get right to it.

"til I came home to a woman
that I did not recognize..."

Not a good omen to play that at a wedding, eh?

I was about to say!
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Judge gets the OMGWTFLOL award today: here's wacky Neil Sedacky with his ballad version of "Breaking Up is Hard to Do".

Just flipped over to catch the en d of JJ's show on KPOO -- and OMG, it's Spyder Turner's version of "Stand By Me", where he imitates the likes of Jackie Wilson, Billy Stewart, Smokey Robinson.  An oddball classic.

I've never heard that one, though I liked "The Beginning of My End" well enough.

That Spyder Turner track is something.  POC put it on a mix for me once.  "Jackie Wilson might sing it like this.  Ooo-WEEEEE!  Sam Cooke might have sung it like this."  And he doesn't even impersonate them well; he just cranks the reverb at intervals.
