Mr Petty, feelin' a whole lot better.
VHM Morgan Freeman in Glory.
wow, this Shawn Colvin song came out in '89? I first heard it when I started listening to KFOG in '92. It certainly didn't get any airplay in NYC.
Quote from: "RGMike"VHM Morgan Freeman in Glory.I was just checking IMDb to see if he got a nomination for that role (remembering of course the Denzel won), but he didn't. It did win 2 other Oscars, Cinematography & Sound, and was nommed for 2 more.
I think Ginger just tipped that we're about to hear Enya.

This guy (David Wilcox, per the KBCO "just played" feature) sounds a lot like James Taylor to these ears. A new one on me.

That was a year almost as weird as this past one, with lots of good movies knocking each other out of different categories, with Glory & Driving Miss Daisy & Born on the Fourth of July dividing up the major categories between them the way Crash & Brokeback did this year.
