Judge is in a disco mood!  We've had Johnny Taylor, a KC/Sunshine Band megamix and now Donna Summer's "Spring Affair", which I haven't heard in 25 years.

ETA: followed by a Thelma Houston song I've never heard -- tho' it's a sound-alike follow-up to "Don't Leave Me..."

I'm exploring AccuRadio's multilplicity of '60s channels. Gaz, did you recommend these to me a while back?  I'm on the strictly '67 & '68 channel (aka the "Man From U.N.C.L.E." channel! LOL!). Heaven.

I've switched to their "bubblegum" sub-channel and oddly, the 1910 Fruitgum Co. is not on the artist list, tho' the Lemon Pipers are.   Currently: a nice Monkees obscurity called "Anytime Anyplace Anywhere".

ETA: OMG, it's "We Can Fly" by the Cowsills -- haven't heard this since '68, probably.  "isn't it groovy in a daydream?"

Curious choice: That's actually one of the "new" recordings on the 20th Anniversary collection that spawned the hit "That Was Then, This Is Now."  (The other new recording was a cover of "Kicks.")

Hoping to spend time on those channels this weekend.

Y'know -- I kinda wondered. It sounded very '80s -- like it coulda been covered by Whitney.

Archie Bell & the Drells, "Here I Go Again", a Brit-but-not-US hit that belongs on our list of Faux-town songs.
