the first time I heard it -- a couple years later, I was 13 or 14 at the time -- I was dumbfounded. I'd never heard a pop song in which such anger and venom were so freely spewed. I was forever changed.

You guys know I like Jerry Garcia and Co., and he does a great cover of this song with Merl Saunders.  The chord progression lends itself well to his approach.  But, that venom, that bile that Dylan spews, is best done by Dylan.  "What a drag it is to see you!" :roll:
