Metheney, 60, died of a heart attack Saturday. He was sent to SF a few months back by Cumulus to whip KGO into shape -- he is far better known as the WNBC exec that Howard Stern clashed with in the '80s; Stern famously referred to him on-air as "Pig Virus", and in the Stern movie Private Parts he was valled "Pig Vomit" (and was played by Paul Giamatti).
