For some reason I have been wanting to hear this song for several days, so at least a VHM for "The Gap" Thompson Twins.

I'm a little late -- had to finish up Little Steven's mini-tribute to Richard Hell before putting the rest of his show on hold.  But VHM both H&O and BS&TESB.

Or as Gaz says, "when he bought into Venice Beach Muscle Culture".  And the new dermatologist helped too.

Was just about to BOS the Gabriel tune, borderline Katrina that it is, when along comes Aztec Camera. So BOS to Roddy Frame et al, whereever he may be.
Let's get right to it.

I didn't mind the Parsons (of course y'all I know that  by now), but I can't give a VHM to Huey until Dave plays "I Want  A New Drug".  Has he ever? It was a huge hit.

Another VHM to the Gabriel, which seems to be the deepest cut Dave is going for today.

Oh wait, the set is saved by Aztec Camera!

Another nugget, Gary Myrick oops, I mean Russ Ballard!

"I got the Key!"

ETA: trivia for Russ Ballard - what Top 20 hit single 5 years earlier had he written?

Indeed, Dave's Huey selections are, well, very selective. He really should play "Drug" back-to-back with "Ghostbusters" in an '84 set.

OK when I hear "voices" I take a pill and go to bed. I don't write a friggin' song about it.
