Yippee!
-
"Into the Mystic" -- what is it good for?
-
BOS GrassRoots, "Temptation Eyes". proxy of Gaz (unless he's still here).
-
BOS1 to Edwin Starr's ever timely message (and I've lately been really digging his soundalike follow-up, "Stop the War Now"); BOS2 to the Grass Roots' "Temptation Eyes." I love it when the drums hit hard on all four beats.
-
Proxy of Shray to the Moodies, "?"
-
oy yeah, moody blues = BOS
-
BOS2 for the relative novelty of hearing S&G's "BOTW" at 8am.
-
Art Garfunkel at the height of his powers is good stuff!
-
wow, you guys use a lot of acronyms and abbreviations....
ok, traffic jam!

Indeed. His solo stuff (especially 1973's Angel Clare) is worth exploring.
I'm "Glad" to BOS3 Traffic.
-
BOS4 Partridges! C'mon, get happy!
-
Hoo Lawd! BOS5 PG&E! Ah am READY!

Hoo Lawd! BOS5 PG&E! Ah am READY!
Yes I'm ready!! BOS3.

VHM CCR's dinosaur victrola.

ha! I don't know this song, so when I read "PG&E" I thought, "oh man - what's THAT acronym mean?" turns out it means what I think it means. Sometimes Mike's shorthand isn't shorthand at all.
But what a good song.. I know I've heard it before, but they just don't make them like that any more. ... Well, I'm sure they make them, but you have to go to church to hear them or tune into some gospel stations.
-
OMGWTF! BOS6 Leon Russell's orig "Song For You", covered by a gazillion others.
-
"A Song for You" is marvy songwriting, but I can't help cringing at Leon Russell's mortifyingly bad vocal effort.

some of Sonia Dada's first CD reminded me of PG&E's vocalizing.

compared to Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia!, this is Pavarotti. ;)

And now Stills with a song for you ... and you ... and you in the blouse ... and you with the nice rack ...
-
Love the one yer with -- esp if her name is Scarlett Jo. VHM Mr Stills -- I still(s) prefer the Isley's cover.
ETA: what did Stephen Stills know about "fisting gloves"??

a total mondegreen. But as Paul McCartney once sang, "My glove does it good"!
Bob does nice work on the Drive's 10@10, esp in the '60s & '70s. His '80s sets can be album-rock crapfests (not as much pop or New Wave as we get from Dave) but occasionally he'll surprise us.

Glad you enjoyed! (Shouldn't it have been a hawk flying with the dove? Guess that word doesn't scan as well.)
