"OMG we're having an earthquake"  "hello hello???" "Jeezus Christ, the Bay Bridge collapsed!"   Memories of 5:04pm, 10-17-89.
I don't remember hearing this clip.

We've got partly cloudy skies, and the 2" of snow that fell last evening seems to be melting quickly. Yes, getting back to work is not where my head is this morning, but no work, no $$ so work I shall.

Ah, Mark, I see Ms. Johanssen has returned to the fold. As it should be.

You're getting a lot more snow than us in the Willamette Valley. Where's about are you again?

What is this rocker with the rather repetitive bassline?  Don't recognize it or the group.

I think you were referring to Love Buzz, the Nirvana tune. Another case of a song being played in the year it was released, but that didn't receive mass attention for several years until the artist came to prominence. Call it the Nick Drake effect.
Let's get right to it.

I'm in Dundee, near Newberg. Also in the Willamette Valley but the north end thereof. I'm told the snow drops off markedly when you get south of Monmouth or thereabouts. It snowed like mad for about 2-3 hours last night, but then it warmed up and was just rain when I went to bed.
Let's get right to it.

Had to turn that off before Warrant intruded.  Later, y'alls.

It was played after "Fisherman's Blues" or thereabouts.

Reminds me of a different song with the same title, by the Nylons (an a capella group), that I always wish Dave would play.  Anyone else familiar with them/it?  The song appears on their 1982 debut album.

OMG.  You are only the second person I've known who knew the Nylons! (The first was my college hallmate Blair, who sang in a capella outfits.)

Me makes three... I'm sure we've discussed them here before, probably concerning their cover of "Na Na Hey Hey..."
