29 Jan 2014: it's... 1992
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:00:24 AM »
I have to assume it's a '90s day. Wonder if we'll get something Super Bowl themed on Friday, even tho' the Niners aren't in it.

and I'm right. Unfortunately. 1992.

Not sure who this is doing a cover of "making Plans For Nigel" but it's, um, kinda awful.

I'm thinking not. Generally those sets aren't very good anyway. Perhaps our first foray into 2004! (Wouldn't it be funny if we didn't get that until 2015!)

Sugar "Helpless"

well, another relative rarity. But Radiohead and Westerberg were way unnecessary

Seems like I heard this a lot a long time ago, but it sounds nice now.

Missed the first two songs but so far this set hasn't offered anything to bitch about, imo. The Sugar tune gets my BOS so far.
Let's get right to it.

Surprisingly good segue.  Rocky reggae song into rappy dance song.

yeah it was played pretty heavily by KFOG that year. I remain astounded that it's not on the playlist at Sharks games, you'd think it would be ideal.
