Kicking it off with Asia!

Think Dave recently saw The 40 Year Old Virgin?

Yup.  IIRC, "Wildest Dreams" was track 1 side 2.

mshray, who had a different Asia poster than the one Steve Carell had.

Saga, most definitely.

BOS for Kool and the Gang.  I remember this song from college.  The guy across the hall was into it.  I had no idea it was actually a new song that year, since I wasn't really into soul at the time.

My brother and two of his classmates (who were I believe each one time girlfriends) had an extra ticket to see a show at Busch stadium called Super Jam '82.  The lineup was Frankie Beverly & Maze, Ashford & Simpson, Pointer Sisters, Kool & The Gang, and then finally Stevie Wonder, (who barely got on stage before midnight & played until after 2am).  Earlier in the afternoon one of the girls got us into a Davis Cup party at a country club (her dad was a Post-Dispatch sportswriter) where we tried but failed to get our pix taken with John McEnroe & Mats Wilander.  The other girl had very high-level connections through her dad with Anheuser-Busch, so we got to watch the show from the luxury boxes.  Something like 12 hours of free parties with free booze, and we were all still under 21.  Too much fun.
