Sting "Little Wing"
Not a bad version. Pretty good guitar solo. Who's playing it?

Hiram Bullock
Thanks! Never hoid of 'im.

He was David Letterman's first guitarist (he was always barefoot). He also had a solo career in the fusion genre. He died a few years ago at the age of 52.

Jon Astley "Jane's Getting Serious"

Any relation to Rick?

he's Pete Townshend's brother-in-law, actually.

I got called away for a meeting and I see I've missed absolutely nothing. This is like one of Morey's famous autopilot '87 sets.

Wow, interesting stuff. Too bad about dying though.

I'm pretty sure I could live a full life without ever hearing "Dude Looks Like a Lady" again.

This set is very Morey-esque (for an '87 set, that's not a good thing).  Will we get Crowded House and Wang Chung?  ::)

ETA: Thankfully, no.

"ohhh the smell of it"  -- an appropriate comment on this set, indeed.

VHM Flesh For Lulu, "I Go Crazy" -- a def rarity and  most welcome here.

Surprised Renee didn't have a HAAAAAAY pop moment in this set.

A tribute from his former bandleader:

“As I said on the show,” Mr. Shaffer said, “I think he was the greatest guitar player ever, with the exception perhaps of Jimi Hendrix. Nobody was ever better.”

I'm pleasantly surprised Flesh For Lulu got BOS.  :)

I'm pretty sure I could live a full life without ever hearing "Dude Looks Like a Lady" again.

Agreed.  That is true with an ever increasing number of Aerosmith tracks.  Still a few I like, though.

lamest clue ever: "the year we got the next phase in communication". Er, whaa? That could apply to every year in the last 4 decades.
Was this communication advance revealed?

I'm having trouble imagining what it could possibly be... it's certainly a vague clue.
