after a weekend bracketed by theme sets, I'm thinking '90s but hoping for something much older.

At least there's a variety of genres and a couple of non-overplayed songs (this comment is directed at the previous programming director and not any poster on this board). I'm not sure why DC thought it would be a good idea to make the show more generic, format-conforming, and, I guess, slanting towards more recent years. At least the experiment failed.
