'63 for the first time sine I dunno when. The Morey era, certainly.

'64? '63?

Sounds promising -- if it is '63, I hope I had a part in inspiring it!  :)

BOSFRA Stones, "Come On".  As I just noted on FB, '63 had already been removed from "the Big Wheel" when I started listening in '92, so this is pretty amazing.

BOS2 Ray Charles.

The Kingsmen "Louie Louie"
makes me think of hanging out in Monta Vista (the wrong side of the tracks) with some kids I traded pigeons with.  They showed me the 'dirty verse' of Louie Louie!

This set will probably end before 10:30!

More time for commercials like SweetJack and Events & Adventures & Kaiser Permanente!

ETA: The Surfaris "Wipe Out"

Beach Boys ripping off Chuck Berry.
I was just discussing this with another teacher the other day.  As I remember, they initially ripped him off, but eventually gave him some songwriter credit on the album.  I can now go to wikipedia and see if I have it right!

Dave Clark Five "Glad All Over"

ETA: Like The Beatles "I Saw Her Standing There", this was released in the UK in 1963, but didn't chart in the US until '64.
