OK, at least we're getting the Phil Collins track done early. HM to the EWF horns.
Let's get right to it.

early BOS "Solid Rock". But an '81 cl***ic doesn't exactly get me all a-tingle.

"Jessie's Katrina".  Surely some Police and Cars are in store?

Yup. Maybe some Foreigner and probably the Tubes too. But probably no ZZ Top.
Let's get right to it.

Please no. There are better choices. All of which escape my feeble mind.

Frankie & the Katrinouts.  A Dave fave -- we heard it in our last '81 visit, no?

Boo for Rod and Young Turks.  I've always hated this song.

I was just gonna give it a VHM.  His early-'80s period is full of good (if disposable) singles that were perfect for Top 40 radio & MTV. It's fluff compared to the '70s stuff but it's not awful either IMHO.

VHM Devo: Are we not men? We are coal miners!

(heard briefly in the greatest midnite movie ever made- "Heavy Metal")

of those, only the Air Supply, Smokey and (I think) Kool & Gang have never appeared on 10@10.  (the Olivia was in a HFH set iirc).

The Smokey tune would be a Narada for me. Heard it ALL the time.

then it's not a Narada, which is a song you've never heard, but which Dave remembers.
