Starting with Janis, "Piece o' My Heart". Guaranteed 10 LNs, so I'll stick with my buddy Brian Bannon on WLNG.

Ugh. I thought it was going to be songs by people we lost last year.  Instead it's the most generic list of dead people in music ever.

Just listened to the replay:

2013-05-27 - MONDAY!! Memorial Day "in memoriam"
 1. Big Brother & The Holding Company (Janis Joplin) - Piece Of My Heart
(News: Bob Marley dead)
 2. Bob Marley & The Wailers - Jammin'
 3. Buddy Holly & The Crickets - Rave On
 4. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lenny
(News: Kurt Cobain dead)
 5. Nirvana (Kurt Cobain) - Smells Like Teen Spirit
 6. Led Zeppelin (John Bonham) - D'yer Mak'er
 7. The Doors (Jim Morrison / Ray Manzarek) - Break On Through (To The Other Side)
(News: Freddie Mercury dead)
 8. Queen (Freddie Mercury) - Killer Queen
 9. Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
(News: John Lennon dead)
10. John Lennon - (Just Like) Starting Over

I agree with radical347 -- it should have been a set of songs by people we lost recently...

Indeed, this was the theme of last year's Memorial Day set (i.e., people lost in the previous year).
Echoing the discussion in the recent Mother's Day thread, by no means has this been a Memorial
Day tradition on 10@10.
