Without looking back, I can guess that my comments in Oct were something like "kudos on the Pointers and Kraftwerk; everything else: yeesh & sheesh". I mean seriously "Bohemian Rhapsody" AND "Sweet Emotion" in one set is unforgiveable IMHO.

Bowie insults Italians.  Wop! Wop! Wop!

"Free yo' Lady Marmalade" -- a fave mondegreen of mine.

Back for Kraftwerk, ELO and the Pointers, then I'm outta here.

I think I mentioned this before but last fall when I went to the Grand Lake in Oakland for the first time, before the movie they played this entire Kraftwerk album on their fabulous sound system.

This Pointers tune -- which does not appear in the Shraytabase -- is easily one of the top 3 rarities of the DC/RR era as far as I'm concerned. Exactly the sort of thing they should not be afraid to play.
