Glad I'm not listening but seriously this set gets a D-minus for originality.

As annoying as the over-the-top rants have gotten, equally annoying is the effusive praise RR often gets for these pedestrian efforts. I understand pulling for the underdog or trying to rescue the damsel in distress, but there's a limit, people. The best option at this point is maintaining a dignified silence.

the people praising her on the KFOG FB page are not... us. Not music geeky types. They're the "typical Fogheads" who are perfectly happy to hear the same songs every time.

But that's so boring.

I'd love to see the Stone Roses. armed with a hit or two.. :)

the loooong version of Fools Gold sounds purty good.

this song single-handedly brought back the wah-wah pedal & phase shifter industry

thanks for the song ID's

I was listening to most of it, but it mainly sounded relentless and annoying.  I usually like the Neil Young cut, a lot, but in this context it was just another noise machine. I have no memory of Bonnie Raitt, as it doesn't fit the rest of the crew!

I have no idea if I'd enjoy your choices whatsoever, but I'm sure it would be much more interesting than today's set was.  I'd probably recognize some of them if I heard them, but it's not what I was listening to in '89.

9. Surface - Shower Me With Your Love

While I can understand this not being played, I would be very interested to hear the KFOG audience reaction if it were.

again, several from my wishlist there -- I requested "Walk the Dinosaur" and "My Brave Face" multiple times. AL played "Me Myself & I" several times, actually. Love the BeeGees tune too.

It would probably get LOTS of BOS votes. The notion that DC and management seem to subscribe to -- that Fogheads have ONLY listened to KFOG-ish rock for the last 25 years and would not recognize an urban/pop hit -- is, I think, quite false.
