The year Hagar The Horrible made its debut. Of course, this could also mean the year Sammy Hagar released his first solo album.

Predictions: Stealer's Wheel, Stones, Marvin Gaye, Jim Croce, Wings, Elton, Paul Simon.  Reapeat from the last '73 set (12/17/12): "The Joker"

as noted on FB, this is only Renee's 3rd visit to 1973. Here are the first 2 -- guaranteed we hear at least one repeat from one of these, sez me.

Quote
12/17/12:
1. Paul McCartney/Wings - Helen Wheels
2. ELO - Showdown
3. Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Still... You Turn me On
4. Billy Joel - Piano Man
(National Lampoon - Flash Bazbo, space explorer!)
5. Steve Miller - The Joker
6. Jackson Browne - Ready or Not
7. The Who - Love Reign O'er Me
(Commerical - Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A)
8. Frank Zappa - Montana
9. Hall and Oates - She's Gone
(News: Watergate)
10. Grateful Dead - Eyes of the World

10/8/12:
1. David Bowie - Jean Genie
2. Pink Floyd - Breathe/On The Run
(TV: Schoolhouse Rock - Three Is a Magic Number)
3. Faces - Ooh La La
4. Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On
5. Paul Simon - Loves Me Like a Rock
(News: Call upon Richard Nixon to resign)
6. Sweet - Ballroom Blitz
7. Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show - Cover of The Rolling Stone
8. Bruce Springsteen - For You
(Movie: American Graffiti)
9. Led Zeppelin - D'yer Maker
10. Stevie Wonder - Living For the City

You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

It's one thing to repeat in say, a 1997 set, but not for an early 70's year.

The problem is in the "Costco-ization" of music, is that as time goes by, programmers see less and less in each older year, even if the year was chock-a-block with great music.

I think both Dave and Annalisa used this clip in their eras; I'd call it as egregious a FF as anything else we've heard, if not moreso.
Let's get right to it.

Then I will repeat my comment that this was my favorite song when I was 15.
