Coyness is nice? Okay, Mr. Morrissey. It's the bomb that will bring us together.

Hands Across America into Jackson Browne's "For America"

At least it wasn't Hands Across America > The Call "I Still Believe."  (Which I like, but that segue had become a running gag during the AL era.)

Jackson Browne, The Smiths, & this Midnight Oil DC fave -- now these I can get behind.

BOS for Paul and Linda.

had to think about that for a bit. "Under African Skies" is a lesser-played Graceland track, so kudos DC/RR. But the rest of this seems pretty tame.  I know AL played "Hymn to Her" a couple times, but it's underheard generally.  "Ask" was one of the 2 or 3 Smiths tracks Dave ever deigned to play (the other was "Panic") but it's pretty LN now.

Midnight Oil "The Dead Heart"

yeah, it was released in *Australia* in '86 but didn't hit American radio until '88.

Renee sez Midnight Oil and Lone Justice 2-way tie for BOS, followed closely by Pretenders and Jackson Browne.

Pretenders "Hymn To Her"
This would probably have been my BOS, maybe Jackson Browne.

No love for that one. It out-winwoods Winwood.
