Heh, I knew if I posted a new topic, it would be simultanoonious with someone else starting it.  Oh, well.  An excellent start with Ian Dury and the Blockheads.  But Mike, what's the "Times 2" part?

And I tried to reply to Dave's thread, only to find it gone when I hit "submit".

Anyway, potential BOS to Ian Dury.

And VHM to Gone Hollywood, a much better Supertramp cut than we normally hear from Breakfast.
Let's get right to it.

I'm not "Cracking Up"... The Drive did '79 today too.

And for those needing a '60s fix -- Capital Gold's Mike Sweeney is doing "a salute to 1965" in place of the Jukebox today (11-2 Pacific time).

Sorry about that.  I kept waiting to see if anybody else would start it, and nobody did, so I did.  But a trifle too late.  The set is continuing to be great with BOS possibilities for Nick Lowe.

Thanks for mentioning--he promo'd it last friday but I spaced. I guess today's a bank holiday over there--the UK's answer to Labor day.

"Street Life" -- which is a proxy WOS but I can't remember if it's poc or Gaz who doesn't like this one.

"Prince Charming always smiles behind a silver spoon" -- a coke reference?

Oh, to one day have another president as enlightened as Mr. Carter.

Sadly, his enlightenment didn't get him anywhere. Americans don't like being told there's something wrong with them -- you succeed in politics by blaming outsiders for our problems.

And blaming others comes in handy when you get accused of child molestation, too.
